~?just me? ~ asked: Financially I am not able to join a gym, or any of the diet plans like Jenny Craig or Weight Watchers. I am slowly losing weight by speed walking and cutting back on my food intake. I was wondering if there were any good specific exercises I could do. I set small goals so I don’t get discouraged and rarely set a time frame, however I am in a wedding at the end of July and I’d like to look my best. Any suggestions?

marcanhalt asked: Who hasn’t tried a diet, at one time or another? How much research do you have to do to be committed to a diet? How many follow the example of a friend, or workforce gossip? What is the most successful diet you have ever been on, and why did it work? If you can suggest sources of viable information, I would appreciate it. Help! I have tried everything!

LG Kaks asked: I’m overweight and need to lose the extra pounds. I want to be in a diet regimen that’s tried and tested and doesn’t require expensive equipments, supplements, and or procedures. I’m willing to exercise and follow a dietary plan but don’t know what regimen or program to follow.

la reigne de sarcasm asked: My husband and my son both think the world is going to come to an end if we don’t have meat daily. I just eliminated poultry out my diet, and I have been pork and red meat free for a few months now. I do plan on eating fish occassionally (I love fish anyway) but certainly not every day. Are there any vegetarian meals you can suggest? Or, does anyone know of a good vegetarian/pescatarian cookbook you can recommend?

strzelecki1 asked: I’ve read that for some health conditions I have it would help if I started an organic diet. I know Whole Foods has organic food, but I’m not sure how to start this.
Do you do it gradually?
Are there organic versions of all kinds of foods?
Is it really easier on your liver?
Do you have to cook everything from scratch?
Are there any organic food restaurants in Chicago?
Has anyone switched over and have advice for a newbie?
